THE BLUE DOOR SELECTED FOR AESTHETICA SHORT FILM FESTIVAL 2018
We're absolutely delighted that The Blue Door has been selected for Aesthetica Short Film Festival 2018!
The Aesthetica Short Film Festival, founded in 2011, is an international film festival which takes place annually in York, UK, at the beginning of November. It is a celebration of independent film from around the world, and an outlet for supporting and championing filmmaking.
The festival is a BAFTA recognised short film festival.

THE BLUE DOOR RECEIVES A SPECIAL MENTION AWARD AT LE PETIT CANNES!
Whilst this was a small event in its first year, The Blue Door has received a Special Mention Award, following becoming a finalist at the Le Petit Cannes Festival in May.
LE PETIT CANNES is a celebration of small films with big talent.
Running parallel to the 71 Festival de Cannes, and hosted by legendary movie industry hangout LE PETIT MAJESTIC, they present the best in short cinema as chosen by an experienced and revered festival jury.

THE BLUE DOOR HAS WON BEST SHORT FILM AT THE HOLLYWOOD JUST4SHORTS FILM AND SCREENPLAY COMPETITION
The Blue Door, has been chosen as the winner in the overall Best Short Film category of the Hollywood Just4Shorts Competition!
With the win, The Blue Door will be promoted to the festival's Hollywood contacts who will consider our work for representation or adaptation deals.
Additionally, each film entered into a genre-specific category will be eligible for a Hollywood Just4Shorts official award, honoring outstanding and original storytelling within the project's genre.

The Blue Door has been selected for HรFF - Haapsalu Horror and Fantasy Film Festival in Tallinn, Estonia.
We're totally thrilled that The Blue Door has been selected for this prestigious event. The Haapsalu Horror & Fantasy Film Festival is a three-day independent festival focusing on the best genre films from recent years, exploring the darker and odder side of cinema: from fantasy to horror, forgotten classics and special retrospectives to extreme films.
The festival has a vibrant schedule including thematic events and parties, all taking place in Haapsalu, a seaside town in Western Estonia known for its healing mud and a haunting castle!

We're totally thrilled to have The Blue Door included in one of the longest-running film, music and arts festivals in the country. The Southeast New England Film, Music & Arts Festival has established itself as one of the premier festivals in New England dedicated to giving life to independent cinema, music and art. Short To The Point Festival: The Blue Door is Nominated!
We're thrilled to announce that The Blue Door has been nominated for Best Short Narrative film at the December 'Short to the Point' Festival in Romania!
SHORT TO THE POINT (STTP) is an international network of distribution, broadcast and promotion of short films. Since 2009, SHORT TO THE POINT has gone through several steps and right now it has gathered some awesome projects under its umbrella.

The Blue Door - Finally Finished!
The Blue Door is finally finished and we can't thank you all enough for all your support.
If you're reading this as someone who donated to our Kickstarter campaign, we know we may owe you a link to the final film, as well as some other goodies! These will be with you soon, we promise.
We'll try to keep you up to speed on any festival screenings we make it into and where these will be.
Wish us luck with that too.

The Blue Door featured in We Are Albert Magazine
Taking waste reduction to new level, the Blue Door set and all props were constructed entirely from pre-used materials which were taken away by Dresd to be used once again on another shoot.
With the exception on the rushes which were transported by bicycle, Excelโs range of hybrid cars were used for cast a crew. With an efficient fleet, no idling policy and route efficiency measures, together the team shaved signification transport emissions from the productions carbon footprint.

We launch our website having completed our first short film The Blue Door.
Starring Game of Thrones' Gemma Whelan along side Janie Booth and Annie McGrath. The Blue Door is about Clare, a caring nurse opening the door to her new job.
Maybe some doors are best left shut.
